A contribution to this cause has been made by our partners. 100% of all allocated money is distributed through organizations working hard in undertaking various projects and schemes for fighting AIDS.

 

   " There are an estimated 2 to 5 million people infected with HIV in India today, and 50,000 to 100,000 cases of AIDS may have already occurred in the country. "

The Freedom Foundation (Bangalore)

Was founded in 1993 to provide effective treatment for chemical dependents in Bangalore.The treatment methods used here are based on a bio psycho-social model .With clientle from all over india and abroad , this center is one of the leading institutions in the country. The Foundation first set up a care facility for hiv+ve persons and this centre today has about 50 HIV+ve men ,women and children in all stages of the  disease.

The services provided here are free of charge and this facility also provides food ,shelter, medicines,medical support and counselling,rehabilitation and hospital care.This HIV/Aids centre has been credited as the first such home in India. The organisation also extends support for children who are HIV +ive and childen of HIV+ve parents ,who will be orphaned in next few years.
